The Main Investigations Directorate of the Russia’s Investigative Committee for Saint-Petersburg has launched criminal investigations into crimes under part 4 of article 159 of the RF Criminal Code (fraud on a very large scale), based on pre-investigation checks conducted in relation to suspension of the activity by OOO Atlas Travel (LLC) and OOO Solvex-Turne (LLC).

According to investigators, unidentified employees of OOO Atlas Travel (LLC) and OOO Solvex-Turne (LLC) who no longer could perform duties under travel services contracts, signed with citizens, continued signing the said contracts with citizens misleading them as of their intentions to perform their duties and stole the money received from them. 

Earlier the Main Investigations Directorate of the Russia’s Investigative Committee for Saint-Petersburg reported the launch of criminal cases over fraud committed by ZAO Firma Neva (CJSC), OOO Expo-tur (LLC), OOO Nordic Star (LLC) and CEO of OOO Veter stranstviy (LLC).

The investigators will identify all the suspects in the scam, denying people their having holidays.
