Alexander Bastrykin receives citizens in Moscow

Alexander Bastrykin held a personal reception of citizens on 10 September 2014 in Moscow. The Chairman of the Russia’s Investigative Committee received residents of the Arkhangelsk, Moscow, Novgorod and Chelyabinsk Regions, as well as of the Krasnodar Territory.

The most of complaints addressed to Mr. Bastrykin during today’s personal reception concerned procedural decisions made over criminal cases investigated by investigating bodies in the said regions. Namely, a resident of the Chelyabinsk Region complained about improper investigation of a criminal case opened in disappearance of his relatives.

In addition, residents of the Krasnodar Territory complained about refusal to open an investigation in a crime under part 3 of article 30, part 1 of article 105 of the RF Penal Code (attempted murder).

During the reception all citizens were received. Following the personal reception Mr. Bastrykin gave explicit orders to heads of a number of territorial investigating bodies. Progress of reviewing all complaints and applications accepted is under personal control of the Chairman.
