Saint-Petersburg Main Investigations Directorate of the Russia’s Investigative Committee during an investigation in frauds committed by employees of OOO Expo-tour (part 4 of article 159 of the RF Penal Code) has detained company’s CEO Igor Ryurikov.

According to investigators, Ryurikov aware that his travel agency had been excluded from the Single Federal Roster, in June 2014 in order to steal money from citizens ordered the company to continue its activity. As a result over 1 million rubles was stolen from citizens.

Ryurikov was detained and arrest and charges are expected to follow. The investigation is ongoing.
