On 8 December 2014, at around 2 AM, the dead body with stabbed wounds of a 45-year-old woman who had worked as a self-employed taxi-driver was found in one of the streets in the town of Pavlov Posad. The Moscow Region investigating bodies of the Russia’s Investigative Committee opened a criminal investigation in the murder (part 1 of article 105 of the RF Penal Code).

The suspect of the murder was detained in the shortest time in the course of efficiently organized investigative and search operations. It is a 19-year-old man. He was detained by the police while driving the victim’s car.

At present the suspect is being questioned. A number of investigative and search operations are underway to find out all the circumstances and motives of the crime.
