In Moscow sportsman Alexander Emelyanenko’s case sent to court

The investigating bodies of Moscow Main Investigations Directorate of the Russia’s Investigative Committee have finished investigating a criminal case against sportsman Alexander Yemeryanenko. He is charged with crimes under part 1 of article 132, part 2 of article 325, part 2 of article 230, of the RF Penal Code (sexual abuse, stealing of a passport and coercion to take drugs or psychotropic agents).

According to investigators at night of 3 March 2014, Yemelyanenko sexually abused using force a maid in his flat in Peresvetovoy Pereulok in Moscow. He also threatened with violence to force the woman to take some drugs. After that he stole her passport from her purse.

The investigators have gathered enough evidence, so the criminal case with the approved indictment has been sent to court to be tried on the merits.
