Altai Territory investigating bodies of the Russia’s Investigative Committee have charged director of Magnit supermarket with a crime under paragraph “e” of part 2 of article 127 of the RF Penal Code (illegal confinement of a minor).

According to investigators, in the afternoon of 3 March 2015, employees of Magnit supermarket in the town of Barnaul accused two 12-year-old girls of stealing foodstuffs and kept them locked in the utility room for a long time until their parents arrived.

At present investigators are gathering and consolidating the evidence. The investigation is ongoing.
