Altai Territory investigating bodies of the Russia’s Investigative Committee have taken over a criminal case over a crime under part 4 of article 159 of the RF Penal Code (fraud on a very large scale).

According to investigators, in early March 2015, Tatyana Belokoneva, a 92-year-old veteran of the Great Patriotic War and labor, a 1^st-group invalid learned from representatives of a facility manager that her flat had been sold to some people. However, the woman had not given any consent to the sale.

During the probe the investigators are going to make their best to protect the rights of the veteran. At present investigative and search operations are underway to find out all the circumstances of the crime and identify persons involved in the crime. The investigation is ongoing.
