Series of programs “Investigation will show” to go on air soon

On the initiative of the Media Relations Directorate of the Russia’s Investigative Committee, the Red Square studio has made a series of programs “The Investigation Will Show” to be broadcast on the Channel One. The documentary series is based on real criminal cases looked into by Investigative Committee investigators.

Officials of the Investigative Committee's Forensics Directorate and investigators of regional investigative authorities took an active part in the project. The events were reconstructed by actors and participants of the investigations.

The film tells about searches for serial killers, investigation in kidnapping, complicated corruption crimes, suppression of activity of individuals who sell fake drugs and alcohol, rescue of victims of "black realtors" and solving terrorist attacks. Each of those crimes are a chain of mistakes made by people, but their grave consequences may affect anyone.

Watching the investigations, the viewers will get the chance to see how forensic laboratories work, will see unique footage made by investigators, including those of face-to-face interrogations. All that will allow them to understand why there were these or those versions, how they affected the investigation, what solved the case and caught the criminal. This way, the series gives a great opportunity to see all stages of the investigation together with investigators and criminalists.

The host of the series is Head of Media Relations of the Russia’s Investigative Committee Vladimir Markin.

Topics of the few next programs: "black realtors", corruption, not-childish atrocity, a terrorist attack, crimes against children and others.

The first program will be shown on 10 October at 06:20 PM, Channel One.
