The Saratov Region investigating bodies of the Russia’s Investigative Committee continue investigation in a crime under paragraph “f” of part 2 of article 105 of the RF Penal Code (murder committed in a generally dangerous way) following the murder of a coach of a sports club.

According to investigators, in the evening of 30 November 2015, a 45-year-old father of one of the trainees who had a conflict with her coach entered the gymnasium and opened fire. The coach was killed on the spot. Besides, the man wounded two other people. They were taken to hospital. No children were wounded.

By now the suspect has been interviewed. He confessed to the crime explaining that he had had a conflict with the coach and believed that he had been biased against his daughter.

The investigators have confiscated the murder weapon. A number of forensic tests are going to be run. The investigation is ongoing.
