The investigating bodies of the Moscow Main Investigations Directorate of the Russia’s Investigative Committee have finished investigation against CEO of OOO Sunrise tour group and OOO Sunrise tour Dmitry Mazurov. He is charged with a crime under paragraph “b” of part 2 of article 199 of the RF Penal Code (evasion of corporate tax by putting false information in a tax report, on a very large scale).

According to investigators, in the period between 2008 and 2010, Mazurov on behalf of the tourist companies he headed put false information in a tax report and made sure that it was submitted to a tax authority. As a result, the Russian Federation budget did not get over 650 million rubles of tax.

The investigators have enough evidence, so the criminal case with the approved indictment has been sent to court to be tried on the merits.
