On 29 January 2016, passers-by found the dead body of a 1-year-old child thrown out of window of a block of flats in Olimpiysky avenue in the town of Mitishchi. The Moscow Region investigating bodies of the Russia’s Investigative Committee have opened a criminal investigation in a crime under paragraph “c” of part 2 of article 105 of the RF Penal Code (murder of a child).

According to preliminary information, the child was in a flat on the 9^th floor of the house with his mother, her boyfriend, sister and boyfriend’s mother. When the adults were drinking alcohol, somebody of them threw the boy out the window.

At present, investigative operations are underway to find out all the details of the incident and to identify the person who committed the crime.
