The Leningrad Region investigating bodies of the Russia’s Investigative Committee have opened an investigation in a crime under paragraph “a” of part 2 of article 105 of the RF Penal Code (murder of two or more people) after a murder using firearms in the town of Shlisselburg, Kirovsk District, Leningrad Region.

Investigators revealed that on 31 January 2016, during a conflict between two groups of men in a cooperative garage in the town of Shlisselburg, Kirovsk District, Leningrad Region, one of those groups used firearms. Two men died at the scene, three are in hospital.

At present, investigative operations are underway to identify and detain all men involved in the conflict, find out the motive and other details.
