In Saint Petersburg, Gleb Grozovsky charged with sexual abuse of three school girls

The Saint Petersburg Directorate of the Investigative Committee continues the investigation against Gleb Grozovsky, 37, charged in absentia with crimes under Part 4, item “b” of Article 132 of the RF Penal Code (sexual abuse).

According to investigators, in summer 2011, priest Grozovsky cynically sexually abused a girl in an orthodox children’s camp located in Leningrad Region.

In addition, in June 2013, the accused sexually abused two girls aged 12 and 9 in a camp of an orthodox children’s club in Greece.

In autumn 2013, Grozovsky was put on an international wanted list, a court put him in custody pending trial in absentia. On 7 September, Grozovsky was extradited to Russia from Israel and on 17 September he was transported from Moscow to Saint Petersburg and charged with the said crimes.

At the moment, investigative and search operations are underway to find out all the details of the crimes, collect more evidence and register it. The investigation is ongoing.
