Despite a tight schedule the leads and officials of the Investigative Committee’ Central Office have found time to go to the exhibition of Aivazovsky paintings in the Tretyakov Gallery.

Organized to mark the 200th anniversary of famous seascape painter Ivan Aivazovsky, the exhibition gathered together his paintings from 17 museums and private collections.

The work of an Investigative Committee official involves great psychological tension, large amounts of negative information, the need to socialize with criminals which requires great constancy both physical and mental. Understanding those problems, the administration of the Investigative Committee pays attention not only to raising the level of professionalism of each investigator, but to their moral, intellectual and mental state. This is the approach, that helps the investigator to keep and get better in their profession. Investigators dedicate rare spare moments to their hobbies: reading, music, sports, theater, charities. Going to the exhibition is not only the way to enjoy the art, but also the way to remove stress.

It appeared, that a lot of investigators and their superiors are admirers of Aivazovsky, who was the best painter in the world to show the beauty of the sea. Helped by an art historian, the visitors could get a new look at such famous paintings as The Ninth Wave, The Wave, View of Constantinople by Moonlight and many other of Aivazovsky’s masterpieces,
