A preliminary investigation has established that on 25 October 2016, from 8:15 PM, 24 children aged between 1.5 and 7 years were taken to hospitals with symptoms of food poisoning after all of them had spent a day in Thumbelina daycare center in the settlement of Khovu-Aksy, Chedi-Kholsky District. 19 of the children were taken to hospitals with some of them in medium grave condition, while the rest of them were discharged to get medical attention at home.
