Chairman of the RF Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin has congratulated Russian Minister of Justice Alu Alkhanov on his 60^th birthday and awarded him the medal “For Loyalty to Duty”.

Speaking to Mr. Alkhanov Mr. Bastrykin mentioned a great contribution he made in the Russian statehood: “Your qualities and ability to work for the benefit of our great country deserve deepest respect. For many years you have been successful in many areas from protection of rights of citizens against criminal trespass to tackling socioeconomic matters. You are a real patriot of Russia. Even in the hardest times for our country you have always been firm about the idea of peoples’ unity and sought to make your views clear to your compatriots. There is no doubt that such work makes a major contribution towards development of Russian statehood.”

Mr. Bastrykin wished Mr. Alkhanov support of his friends and family and that his plans were always accompanied by success and good luck!

Mr. Alkhanov said that the Investigative Committee and the Ministry of Justice had a lot of common tasks. He highly appreciated Mr. Bastrykin’s work principles: “With such a load of cases controlled by the Chairman, he finds time to develop cadetship in the Committee, pays attention to veterans, takes interest in any crime or violation of rights of children or socially unprotected citizens, all this speaks about his exceptional qualities as a man and a professional.”
