The Saratov Region Office of the Investigative Committee has launched a probe against head of municipal unitary enterprise, located in the town of Marks, in misappropriation that is the appropriation of someone else’s property which has been entrusted to the guilty party, committed by a person with the use of his or her official position, and likewise in large amount under Part 4 of Article 160 of the RF Penal Code.

According to investigators, from February to June 2015, the director of the enterprise, located in the town of Marks, used his official position to enclose sham agreements on repair setup labours for heating systems on boiling stations, being in charge of the enterprise. The director appropriated the money for allegedly carried out jobs. This, the director stole entrusted to him money on a total sum of 4.6 million rubles, which he illegally used for his own benefit.

The crime was revealed due to well-planned and organized investigative operations by the Federal Security Service agents and employees of the Economical Safety and Corruption Counteraction Department of the Russian Ministry of the Interior.

Currently the director has been detained and faces charges. Restraint measures against him are being decided upon. Investigative operations are underway to find out all the consequences surrounding the crime. Criminal investigation is ongoing.
