Alexander Bastrykin orders subordinates assess actions of motorist who ran over pedestrian in Moscow

A central TV channel has showed today a coverage about a traffic accident that took place in early June 2017 on a busy street in Moscow. According to journalists, a driver of a car ran over a young woman on a sidewalk, after which instead of asking about her condition and administer first medical aid, screamed at her.

As soon as Chairman of the Investigative Committee learnt about the incident, he ordered the head of the Moscow Directorate of the Investigative Committee to launch a check in the incident, look thoroughly into the circumstances and give unbiased legal assessment to the man’s actions.

Investigators are going to look carefully into the information provided by journalists and will find all the persons involved and restore the real picture of what happened.
