The Moscow Director of the Investigative Committee has charged Sergei Yegorov with murder of two or more people under Part 2, item “a” of Article 105 of the RF Penal Code.

According to investigators, Yegorov was having a party with summer residents on 3 June 2017 in the settlement of Redkino, Konakovo District, Tver Region. The accused and the men present had a conflict and Yegorov decided to kill his opponents. He took off, fetched a gun and shot dead 9 people.

Yegorov’s guilt is being proven by evidence that has been documented so far: his statements, including the one made on the scene of the murder, statements of eye-witness and some other witnesses, examination of the scene and results of forensic medical, ballistic and other expert examinations.

The investigators keep on investigative operations to find out all the circumstances and contributing factors of the crime.
