The Ivanovo Region Office of the Investigative Committee has initiated criminal proceedings against a bus driver suspected of unsafe services under Part 1 of Article 238 of the RF Criminal Code following a check in media reports on injuring passengers, including a child, after they fell from a bus on the run.

According to investigators, on 25 May 2017, the 45-year-old bus driver stopped the bus at a not fixed stop near No 10 in Sheremetyevsky Avenue in the town of Ivanovo. A 36-year-old woman and her 3-year-old daughter fell from the bus and got injuries.

Investigative and other procedural operations are underway to collect and document evidence. The investigation continues.
