The Chairman of the Russian Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin has instructed the personnel department to prepare documents to award the woman who witnessed the brutal beating of Roman Kovalev.
Undeterred, the woman pressed the panic button in the metro car. Despite the fact that she could have been hurt herself by the aggressive company, she followed them out of the car and pointed them out to law enforcement officers. Her actions allowed law enforcers to detain the perpetrators at the heat of the moment. The selfless act of a woman who risked her life to perform her civic duty, not allowing the suspects to escape, did not go unnoticed by the leadership of the Investigative Committee.
The Head of the Investigative Committee decided to award the woman, who had shown courage in an emergency situation, with the departmental medal "For Contribution".
