The Commission of the Central Office of the Investigative Committee of Russia continues to analyse the work of the Vsevolozhsk Investigation Department of the Leningrad Regional Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia.

Employees of the central office assess the quality of work of the department's investigators, including the legality and validity of procedural decisions taken, the duration of investigations, examine suspended and terminated probes, and verify possible facts of falsification of evidence in criminal cases by officials of the department.

At the moment, there have been a large number of enquiries and complaints from residents of the Leningrad region about the activities of the investigative department in Vsevolozhsk. The Investigative Committee continues to work with citizens. Also, as previously reported, another reception for residents of Vsevolozhsk district will be held on 27 October by the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia. The reception will hear appeals and complaints concerning the work of the investigative unit.

All available and incoming information will be verified and, if information is received indicating indications of crimes, the investigation will take appropriate procedural decisions.
