In connection with the newly published appeals to the leadership of the Investigative Committee of Russia of employees and veterans of the Chelyabinsk police, which stated about abuses in the distribution of housing built under the target program for employees, the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructed the head of the Chelyabinsk Regional Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia Reshetnikov P.G. to report on the progress of conducted verification measures.

During the ongoing inspection, a significant number of employees of the internal affairs department, both current and former, were interviewed, and a large volume of normative and legal documentation related to the allocation of housing was studied. Letters to the Governor of the region and the Head of Chelyabinsk were also prepared to resolve the housing issue of the applicants.

Earlier, the Chairman of Investigative Committee of Russia instructed the leadership of the regional department to organize an inspection of the published appeal of the citizens.

The progress of execution of the order is under supervision of the Central Office of the Investigative Committee.
