On December 1, 2021, near school in the village of Altayskoye, a 10th grader shot another schoolboy in the head with an air gun. The minor received medical treatment. Investigators are currently investigating all the circumstances of the incident.

The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructed I.V. Kolesnichenko, the acting head of Altai Territorial Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia, to report on the progress of the inspection.

In addition, the head of department instructed acting head of Investigation Department of Investigative Committee for Krasnoyarsk region and Republic of Khakassia Zyubanov A.G. to report on the progress of criminal investigation into the murder of a young child.

After the report was received by investigating authorities about the discovery of five-year-old girl's body with the signs of strangulation in an apartment of one of the houses in Krasnoyarsk and the body of her mother near the entrance of the house with the signs of falling from height criminal case was initiated under Paragraphs A, C of Part 2 of article 105 of the Criminal Code (murder of two persons, including a minor, being in knowingly helpless state). At present all the circumstances of what happened are being established.
