According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, in the Ukrainian city of Izyum, Rosgvardiya soldiers captured several leaders of nationalist formations and SBU accomplices.

Chairman of the IC of Russia A. I. Bastrykin instructed the investigators of the Main Investigative Department of the IC of Russia to check the detained persons for involvement in crimes against the civilian population of Donbass and Ukraine, establishing their role and degree of participation in the Ukrainian regime's crimes, as well as to ensure a full, comprehensive and thorough investigation of these persons' criminal actions. If there are grounds – to immediately make a decision on imposing a restriction measure in the form of detention on them.
