Head of the IC of Russia Instructs to Document and Investigate Numerous Ukrainian Troops' Attacks Against DPR Civilians

The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation instructed investigators to document and investigate the instances of inflicting injuries to civilians of the Donetsk People's Republic as a result of shelling by Ukrainian armed formations.

According to Deputy Head of the Department of the People's Militia of the DPR Eduard Alexandrovich Basurin, the Armed Forces of Ukraine conduct intensive shelling of settlements, dealing damage to residential buildings and civilian infrastructure. Over the past day, Ukrainian units fired more than 100 shells and mines from BM-21 Grad multiple rocket launchers, cannon artillery and mortars, as a result of which 41 civilians, including five children, suffered injuries of varying severity.

A. I. Bastrykin has instructed to carry out a set of necessary investigative actions aimed at establishing specific individuals of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and nationalist battalions and holding them criminally liable.
