A criminal case is launched on the convoy of refugees shelling committed by Ukrainian soldiers

The Main Investigation Directorate of the Russian Investigative Committee launched a criminal case on the convoy of refugees shelling against unidentified persons of the military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other Ukrainian military formations. The signs of their crimes are prescribed in Part 3, Art. 30, paragraphs "a", "f", "g" Part 2, Art. 105, paragraphs. "a", "f", "g" Part 2, Art. 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (murder of two or more persons; attempted murder of two or more persons, committed in a commonly dangerous way, by a group of persons in conspiracy to commit a crime).

According to the investigation, on May 4, 2022, servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other Ukrainian military formations have fired a convoy of cars with refugees moving along the road towards Kharkiv from small arms, near the village of Stary Saltov, Chuguevskiy rayon, Kharkovskaya oblast of Ukraine.

As a result of the shelling, three civilians, including one juvenile, were killed. 13 persons, including five juveniles, received injuries of varying severity.

The Investigative Committee of Russia is identifying the Ukrainian security forces units which have been operating in the specified area, and the individuals involved in this crime commission.
