The evidence collected by the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for North Caucasian Federal Okrug in cooperation with the Main Investigative Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia was recognized by the court as sufficient to pass a sentence against Mr. Sirtaki Tosunov. He was found guilty of committing crimes prescribed in Part 3, Article 210, Part 5, Article 290, Part 1, Article 285 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (leadership of a structural unit that is part of a criminal community, committed by a person using his official position, and receiving bribes in the form of money in a significant and large amount as part of an organized group, as well as the use by an official of its official powers contrary to the interests of the service, when this the act was committed out of selfish interest and entailed a significant violation of the legally protected interests of the State).

It was detected that the Officers of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for Uspensky Raion of Krasnodar Krai Mr. Bochkarev S.V., Mr. Plekhov D.V., Mr. Tosunov S.I., Mr. Akimov E.N., Mr. Maksimov M.G., Mr. Vorontsov I.N., Mr. Ionov A.A., Mr. Pitsyk V.V., Mr. Pshenichny D.V., Mr. Makarenko I.A., Mr. Bakanov M.N., Mr. Novikov A.B. and Mr. Frolov D.N., Mr. Skopenko R.V., Mr. Grinenko R.V., Officers of the Operations and Search Division (Security Service) of the Main Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for Krasnodar Krai, and other unidentified persons between June 1, 2016 and March 1, 2020 systematically received bribes in the form of money totaling more than 2 million rubles from various persons for failure to take measures to bring to justice for administrative offenses and criminal offenses detected at the stationary post of the Uspensky traffic police. They opertated on the territory of Krasnodar Krai, acting as part of an organized criminal community under the leadership of Mr. Bochkarev S.V.

By the verdict of the Leninsky District Court of the Rostov-on-Don city, Mr. Tosunov was sentenced to imprisonment for a period of 3.5 years with serving in a strict regime penal colony, with a fine of 300 thousand rubles to the state revenue, with deprivation of the right to hold positions in civil service in Law Enforcement Agencies related to the implementation of the functions of a representative of power for 5 years and restriction of freedom for 1 year.

Earlier, Messrs. Vitaly Pitsyk and Ilya Makarenko were convicted by members of mentioned organized criminal community in accordance with similar Articles of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. Currently, 12 other members of the organized criminal community are getting acquainted with the criminal case files.
