A group of the central office staff of the Investigative Committee has been sent to the village Kushchevskaya from Moscow to conduct a full inspection

On behalf of the Chairman of the Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin, a group of the central office staff of the Investigative Committee has been formed and sent to Kuschevsky region of Krasnodar Territoty to conduct a full-scale inspection of procedural legitimacy of decisions on the materials of grave and especially grave crimes committed in the village in recent years. According to the results of this inspection procedural decisions will be accepted, including even initiation of criminal cases against law enforcement officials, local authorities and other authorities of the region whose actions or omissions had led to such serious consequences.

In addition, the staff has been created in Kushchevskaya region, which includes members of the Central Office of Investigative Committee, the General Investigative Office for the SFD and NKFO, the investigative office for the Krasnodar Territory. The staff is already engaged in full-scale revision of the suspended or dismissed criminal cases of grave and especially grave crimes, as well as check of the facts about the crimes for which no procedural decisions had been made.

It is planned that after the meeting of Alexander Bastrykin, the Chairman of the Investigative Committee with the citizens of the village Kushchevskaya on November 22, 2010, the first results of the central office group of the Investigation Committee and Staff operation will reported to him.
