Today, at about 7:30 a.m. a private double plane SP-30 crashed into a filed between the villages of Grachi and Pogorelovka of Belokalitvinsky district, resulting in death of a 46-year old man from Taganrog. There were no other persons inside at the moment of crash. As a result of a vertical fall the plane sustained a lot of mechanical damage, the plane had been spraying the crop. The plane had had no permission to fly in this area.

The Sothern Transport Investigations Directorate of the Russian Investigative Committee takes a pre-investigative check into the accident. At the moment, investigators and criminologists are working at the scene. They are establishing all circumstances of the accident.

A procedural decision will be made following the results of the check.
