Number of detained on suspicions of participating in 6 May mass riots on Bolotnaya Ploshchad in Moscow reaches 12 people

Today, the Main Investigations Directorate of the Russia’s Investigative Committee within framework of investigation of criminal case over mass riots and use of violence against representatives of the authority during 6 May events on Bolotnaya Ploshchad in Moscow with the active assistance of field officers of Moscow City Interior Ministry Main Directorate have detained as suspects Richard Sobolev born 1990, Vladimir Akimenkov born 1987, Oleg Arkhipenkov born 1985, Feodor Bakhov born 1981 and Alexandr Kamensky born 1977.

According to investigators, all of them are involved in mass riots on Bolotnaya Ploshchad (article 212 of the RF Criminal Code). Databases and clothes they were wearing on the rally have been seized During the search. In addition, a mask with the eye-holes and a flag with the sign DPNI (movement against illegal migration) have been seized from Sobolev.

7 people were detained earlier in this case: Alexandra Dukhanina, Andrey Barabanov, Maksim Luzyanin, Mikhail Kosenko, Stepan Zimin, Denis Lutskevich and Yaroslav Belousov.

Investigating task force continues to identify and detain all the organizers and participants of mass riots and individuals, who used violence against representatives of the authority during the “March of Millions”.
