In the afternoon of 18 July 2012, there was a fire on 70 sq. meters in the United Russia political party public reception room on the second floor. A woman, 50, and a reception employee, 42 were injured. Novosibirsk Region investigating bodies of the Russia’s Investigative Committee have initiated a criminal case over article 110 of RF Criminal Code (incitement to suicide).

According to investigators, in the afternoon of 18 July 2012, at the reception in the public reception room of United Russia political party was a 50-year-old woman of Novosibirsk. To defend her interest in purchasing a flat the woman has been appealing to United Russia public reception room for legal services since 2005. Inside the room the woman poured petrol over herself and set a fire. She was hospitalized with burns of 80% of her body. In addition, a 42-year-old employee of the reception room with burns and three more people were hospitalized.

At present, the reason of the fire and all circumstances of the incident are being established. Investigation is to be continued.
