Media information on discovery of one of An-2 passengers checked in Sverdlovsk Region

In the evening of 18 July 2012, Pyt-Yakh duty office of Directorate of Ministry of Internal Affairs received a message from Pyt-Yakh district hospital that an unknown man died in a resuscitation department. Media connect this fact with the An-2 plane which got missing on 11 June 2012 in Serov district of Sverdlovsk Region.

Investigators of Urals Transport Investigations Directorate of Russia’s Investigative Committee are identifying a man within the framework of the criminal case.

It was established that, on 17 July 2012 the man aged 40-45 without documents had been found in grave condition by traffic police team of Nefteyugansky district, later an ambulance had delivered him in the Pyt-Yakh district hospital where died not recovering conscience. There were scratches and insect bites on the man’s bodies.

At the moment investigating bodies are identifying the body and death cause.
