A criminal case initiated over abuse of official powers by head of administration of municipal entity the village of Zharkovsky, Zharkovsky district of Tver Region

The Tver Region investigating bodies of the Russia’s Investigative Committee have initiated a criminal case against Head of administration of municipal entity rural settlement - the village of Zharkovsky, Zharkovsky district of Tver Region Alexander Ladyka. He is suspected of a crime under part 2 of article 285 of the RF Criminal Code (abuse of official powers by the head of a local self-government body).

According to investigators, on 26 December 2011, Ladyka, knowing that the capital repairs of the house 34 in Sovetskaya Street of the village of Zharkovsky were partly not completed, signed an acceptance certificate. According to the certificate municipal unitary enterprise Zharkovsky Communal City Systems (hereinafter – City Systems) completed the work worth total of 126 thousand rubles. In addition he signed a payment order of 29 December 2011 on more than 97 thousand rubles, on the bases of which the stipulated sum was transferred to the account of the City Systems from the budget of the municipal entity of Zharkovsky village. As a result of deliberate actions of Ladyka the budget of Zhirkovsky village sustained a damage of more than 97 thousand rubles.

At present investigating operations are underway to establish all the circumstances of the incident. Investigation is to be continued.
