Investigators of the main Military Investigations Directorate of the Russia’s Investigative Committee in the process of investigation of 5 criminal cases initiated over signs of crimes under part 4 of article 159, paragraph “c” of part 3 of article 286, part 3 of article 285 and part 2 of article 201 of the RF Criminal Code – facts of swindling in selling real estates, land plots and stocks owned by OAO Oboronservis (OJSC) - have finished searching in the offices of CEOs of opened joint stock companies “Voyentorg”, “Agroprom” and “Krasnaya Zvezda” which are parts of holding company Oboronservis and in three affiliated commercial structures.

In addition, the search was conducted in the apartment of former Head of Property Relations Department of the Russia’s Defense Ministry, Yevgeniya Vasilieva. Besides the documents relevant for the case, investigators seized from her more than 3 million rubles, antiques, several dozens of paintings, and a large amount of jewelry.

Searches were conducted also in Moscow and Saint-Petersburg apartments of 6 more people.

Simultaneously with the searches documents were seized from the Property Relations Department of the Russia’s Defense Ministry, officials of the Ministry were interrogated, and other urgent investigating operations were carried out. Investigation is to be continued.
