Allegations by Sergey Tsapok’s lawyer about tortures are false

Allegations made on 9 November 2012 at the hearing by Sergey Tsapok’s lawyer that the accused “was tortured and subject to psychotropic drugs during interrogations and during calls on the crime scenes” are not true.

from the very first stages of the inquiry investigators foresaw lawyers of the suspected and accused might use to such an old and not original means of protection, so all investigating operations with the participation of Tsapok were conducted using video recording equipment and after each of the investigating operations a medical forensic examination was assigned for any injuries to him. Of course the examinations did not find any injuries. In addition, his lawyer was present at all investigating operations with Tsapok. During the check of testimonies on the site, which was also recorded, apart from the investigator, the lawyer and the accused, there were witnesses and other participants of investigating operations, which also rules out any tiny possibility of wrongdoings against the accused.

I assume, that such actions of the lawyer might prolong the term of hearing the case, which is evidently the final target of the Tsapok’s defenders, I should however stress one more time, that investigators have collected enough evidence which will enable the court to made an impartial decision and to impose a penalty adequate to the crime.
