Moscow Main Investigations Directorate of the Russia’s Investigative Committee has started procedural check in connection with a publication in Rossiyskaya Gazeta about illegal schemes with the property belonging to the family of USSR People’s Artist Alexey Batalov.

At present the check is underway to find all the circumstances and persons involved in the illegal schemes with the actor’s property. If the frauds with the actor’s land are confirmed to be true, a criminal investigation will be launched at once. In addition the Investigative Committee will qualify the actions of officials of controlling and registration bodies.

A procedural decision will be made following the results of the check.
