Alexander Bastrykin holds personal reception of citizens in Moscow

Chairman of the Russia’s Investigative Committee held a personal reception of citizens on 19 December 2012 in Moscow. During the reception, which took from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Alexander Bastrykin received 32 people. Citizens from Moscow and Saint-Petersburg, Arkhangelsk, Astrakhan, Belgorod Vladimir, Kemerovo, Lipetsk, Moscow, Novosibirsk, Saratov and Penza regions applied for the personal reception of the Chairman.

The most of complaints addressed to Investigative Committee Chairman concerned procedural decisions made over criminal cases in proceeding of investigating bodies. Citizens were also complaining about decisions of other law enforcement agents and courts.

Based on the results of the personal reception Alexander Bastrykin gave explicit orders to senior officials of a number of territorial investigating bodies of the Investigative Committee. The course of reviewing all complaints and applications received is under personal control of the Russia’s Investigative Committee Chairman.
