Today Chairman of the Russia’s Investigative Committee has held a personal reception of citizens in Sochi. 69 citizens of different districts of the Krasnodar Territory, Republics of Adygea, Ingushetia and Karachayevo-Cherkessia addressed to the Chairman. During the reception which took from 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., Alexander Bastrykin personally received 28 people. Together with the Chairman citizens were received by Vice-Chairman Boris Karnaukhov and a number of heads of divisions of the Central Office.

The most of complaints addressed to Mr. Bastrykin during the personal reception concerned procedural decisions made over criminal cases in proceedings at the investigating bodies of the Russia’s Investigative Committee and other issues. In addition two of the citizens thanked Alexander Bastrykin personally and employees of the Committee in general for the reviewing applications.

Based on the results of the personal reception Mr. Bastrykin gave explicit orders to heads of a number of territorial investigating bodies. Progress of reviewing all accepted complaints and application is under personal control of the Chairman.
