Pskov Region investigating bodies of the Russia’s Investigative Committee have launched pre-investigating check in connection with the information spread in media that Dmitry Yakovlev’s grandparents tried to adopt him, but officials did their best so that the boy was sent abroad.

During the check investigators are going to establish all the circumstances of the boy’s adoption. The actions of custody bodies dealing with the adoption will be classified. A procedural decision will be made based on the results of the check.
