The Central Federal District Investigations Directorate of the Russia’s Investigative Committee has launched criminal proceedings against head of Yaroslavl regional branch of OAO Rosselkhozbank (OJSC) Andrei Lebedev and other unknown persons. They are suspected of a crime under part 2 of article 201 of the RF Criminal Code (abuse of powers entailing grave consequences).

According to investigators, in 2010-2011, acting in violation of regulatory documents of OAO Rosselkhozbank, Lebedev illegally ordered to give loans of more than 340 million rublesto two organizations which caused damage to the bank. The bank staff did not receive necessary information about sources to pay out the loans.

At present investigating operations are under way to establish all the circumstances of the crime and other persons involved. Investigation is to be continued.
