As part of investigation into terrorist attacks at the Moscow metro stations Park Kultury and Lubyanka the Main Investigations Directorate of the Russia’s Investigative Committee has charged in absentia Gusen Magomedov with articles 205, 222, 209, 105 and 210 of the RF Criminal Code (a terrorist attack, illegal handling of firearms, banditry, murder, organization of a criminal community). After that he was announced internationally wanted.

In connection with the information that a man who had similar distinctive marks to those of Magomedov was killed in the Republic of Dagestan, investigators are going to identify him and conduct other investigating operations. In case the person is identified as Magomedov the further procedural decisions over the criminal case will be made.
