Searches underway in case over hiding tax money by ZAO Domodedovo Concrete Product Plant

The investigating bodies of Moscow Region Main Investigations Directorate of the Russia’s Investigative Committee continue investigating a criminal case over concealing money meant for paying taxes by top managers of ZAO Domodedovo Concrete Product Plant (article 199.2 of the RF Penal Code).

According to investigators, in the period between 18 March 2013 and 1 April 2014, ZAO Domodedovo Concrete Product Plant had a tax debt about 212 million 233 thousand rubles. Realizing that as soon as any money was transferred to the accounts of the plant it will be written off to pay the debt, the top managers of the enterprise decided to evade the enforced payment of taxes. This way, in the said period of time, they concealed 2 billion 349 million 111 thousand rubles which under Russian laws on taxes and duties was to pay the tax debt by settling with contractors using settlement accounts of third parties by preparing and sending order letters.

Besides, it has been revealed that the plant being part of group of companies ZAO SU-155 carried out criminal activity using affiliates of ZAO SU-155 and other enterprises incorporated in ZAO SU-155. In other words, the plant and other organizations were managed by ZAO SU-155. Therefore, investigators are searching ZAO Su-155 to find and confiscate documents necessary for the investigation.
