Several law enforcement officers held in Dagestan on suspicions of especially grave crimes

Main Investigations Directorate of Russia’s Investigative Committee accepted 7 criminal cases over encroachments on law enforcement officers and other crimes committed in the Republic of Dagestan.

Among these criminal cases are encroachments on officers of regional directorate of the Investigative Committee Arsen Gadzhibekov in 2011, Nurlan Ashurbekov in 2012 and encroachments on officers of Dagestani prosecutor’s office Natalia Mamedkerimova in 2011 and Abdulbasyr Omarov in 2007.

On 22 March he went into unknown direction. At present Ashikov is dismissed from his position and Dagestan Ministry of Interior has an order to find him and deliver to the investigator to be questioned as a suspect.
