Criminal case against Leonid Razvozzhayev and Sergey Udaltsov forwarded for indictment to be approved

The Main Investigations Directorate of the Russia’s Instigative Committee has finished investigating a criminal case into organization of mass riots on 6 May 2012 on Bolotnaya Square in Moscow launched against Leonid Razvozzhayev and Sergey Udaltsov.

The case has been sent to the General Prosecutor’s Office for the indictment to be approved and further to be sent into court where it will be tried on the merits.

We remind that Leonid Razvozzhayev was charged with crimes under part 1 of article 212 of the RF Criminal Code (organization of mass riots on 6 May 2012 on Moscow’s Bolotnaya Square), part 1 of article 30, part 1 of article 212 (preparing for organizing mass riots) and part 1 of article 322 (illegal crossing of the Russian Federation border). Sergey Udaltsov was charged with crimes under part 1 of article 30, part 1 of article 212 of the RF Criminal Code (preparing for organizing mass riots), part 1 of article 212 (organization of mass riots on 6 May 2012 on Moscow’s Bolotnaya Square).
