Dmitry Yarosh charged and wanted

The Main Investigations Directorate of the Russia’s Investigative Committee has passed a resolution to prosecute leader of Ukraine’s Right Sector as the accused of crimes under part 2 of article 205.2 of the RF Penal Code and part 2 of article 280 (public calls for terrorism and extremism using media).

According to investigators in his statements leader of the Ukraine’s ultra-nationalist organization Right Sector Dmitry Yarosh publicly calls for anti-Russian forces to extremism and terrorism in Russia.

I would like to remind that in accordance with international law and Russian legislation any person committing a crime posing danger for Russian citizens and encroaching on constitutional foundations of our state can be prosecuted.

Today Yarosh was put on an international wanted list and in the near future investigators are going to ask court to put him in custody in absentia. The Russia’s Investigative Committee will use all exhaustive and legal measures to detain Yarosh and prosecute him under the laws of the Russian Federation.
