Territorial divisions of Russia’s Investigative Committee start working in Crimea and Sebastopol

Investigation Directorates of the Russia’s Investigative Committee has been formed and started working in the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sebastopol. Chairman of the Committee Alexander Bastrykin set a task to his subordinates to solve organizational issues and those of equipment and staffing the new territorial bodies of the Investigative Committeei the shortest period of time.

From now on the crimes committed in the two new subjects of the Russian Federation will be classified in accordance with current Russian criminal legislation and criminal cases under jurisdiction of the Russia’s Investigative Committee will be investigated by the investigators of the Committee in line with the norms of Russian criminal procedure legislation.
