The Southern Federal District Investigations Directorate of the Russia’s Investigative Committee has finished investigating criminal cases against Kurban Izudinov and Timur Abdullayev. Izudinov is charged with deliberate infliction of grievous bodily harm committed on hire by a group of people in a previous concert (paragraph “a” of part 3 of article 111 of the RF Penal Code), Abdullayev with complicity in the said crime (part 5 of article 33, paragraph “a” of part 3 of article 111 of the RF Penal Code).

According to investigators, on 25 March 2014, in Rostov-on-Don, Abdullayev used his car to deliver Izudinov and the second assailant to the residence of head of the Rostov Region Traffic Police Office of the Russian Interior Ministry Sergey Morgachev. There Izudinov and his accomplice beat up the victim inflicting grievous bodily harm. After the assault Abdullayev drove the perpetrators away from the crime scene and threw away the clothes and shoes they were wearing during the crime. For that Abdullayev and Izudinov got 100 thousand rubles each from the organizer of the crime.

The investigators have gathered enough evidence, therefore the criminal case against Abdullayev and Izudinov with the approved indictment has been sent to court to be tried on the merits.

The investigation against four more accomplices, including the organizers, is ongoing. One of the accomplices is wanted.
