In Sverdlovsk Region experienced investigating criminalists of Investigative Committee Central Office join investigation in murder of little girl

On the order of Chairman of the Russia’s Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin experienced investigating criminalists of the Central Office of the Russia’s Investigative Committee has joint an investigation into a murder of a girl born in 2006 committed in the village of Verkh-Neyvensky. At present the investigators are examining the crime scene, a number of analyses to find out the cause of death and identify a person involved in the crime.

As it was reported earlier, in the evening of 29 September 2014, a 31-year-old resident of the village of Verkh-Neyvensky reported her daughter born in 2006 missing. The dead body of the girl with signs of violent death was found today in the evening not far from houses on a waste plot of land near the village of Verkh-Neyvensky during massive search operations carried out by investigators, police officers and volunteers. The Sverdlovsk Region investigating bodies of the Russia’s Investigative Committee launched a criminal investigation into a crime under paragraph “c” of part 2 of article 105 of the RF Penal Code (murder of a child).

It should be noted that the investigation is kept under personal control by the Head of the Sberdlovsk Region Investigations Directorate. There are several theories that are being checked at the moment. The investigators are also checking several people, including former criminals, in being involved in the murder. The investigators are taking measures to find their whereabouts and check them. By now they have questioned the girl’s neighbors and relatives. Criminalists are checking the materials confiscated from the crime scene for DNA traces. Latest criminalistics equipment is being used to find out the cause of death and identify people involved in the murder.

The investigation is ongoing.
