Russia’s Investigative Committee looking at disappearance of Russian scientist Marat Musin near Luhansk

On 1 October 2014, a number of mass media reported that Russian scientist Marat Musin, who is also head of news agency Anna News and some of his colleagues had gone missing near the city of Luhansk in Ukraine. The Russia’s Investigative Committee is now checking this information.

At present a number of checks are underway to find out all the circumstances under which the journalists went missing. A procedural decision will be made following the check.
